Home brewing is easier than it sounds, and it's always better to drink your own :) We don't even drink anymore but really miss the brewing part LOL and still have all of our stuff, thinking of homemade root beer now!Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06916896512933101955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1412316033303635508.post-68868400558541335582012-09-03T22:44:16.466-05:002012-09-03T22:44:16.466-05:00Ooohhh...home brew! I do think part of that is that I've cut my work hours this year. This is the first gardening season that I haven't worked full time. Granted an extra day off every other week isn't much but it does help with weed control. I'm hoping that this year may be the turning point. Of course, the grass in my pumpkin patch says otherwise....

We've done wine in the past but not recently. Everything I've looked at for brewing sounds more complicated than wine. But it's probably just the unknown. And you will, so hang in there. I've fought with clay soil way too much (trying to amend it) so you're fortunate to have the good soil you have . . . even with the weed problem!

You're talking about beer brewing and hubby and I were talking last night about getting into making wine. I opened a jar of the raspberries I canned this summer and the juice was almost wine-like. Here's to all of us learning how to home brew!Mama Peahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03649357184167949247noreply@blogger.com
