We're having the hottest June on record here in Denver... in the past week we hit 105 twice... and that's the hottest temperature ever recorded here! On the one hand I'm grateful that the humidity has been in the single digits because I know humidity makes it feel hotter, but on the other hand it's terrible for all of the fires. Felt downright cool today with a high of only 98! Sigh.

I'm comforted to know that I'm not the only person who still has blackberries that need to be planted. I'm not sure which would be crueler, to leave them in the pots a bit longer or to try to transplant them in triple digit heat!

Hang in there and enjoy whatever rain you can get... it seems to be a scarce commodity these days!EcoCatLadyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15704811319510740473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1412316033303635508.post-14086895675594664782012-06-29T20:38:36.742-05:002012-06-29T20:38:36.742-05:00So glad to hear you're getting some much neede...So glad to hear you're getting some much needed rain! I just came in from watering the garden. Who could have guessed we could be so dry only a little over a week from being flooded? Oh, the joys of gardening! Our temps have been in the 90s during the day, but we do cool off at night.Mama Peahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03649357184167949247noreply@blogger.com
