In the future, remind V that late afternoon on New Year's Eve is not the most auspicious time to begin non-emergency plumbing repairs... because we KNOW that it never goes as smoothly as you hope.
A HAPPY 2012 TO YOU ALL!
May it be peaceful, joyous and fulfilling for everyone.
And may you never have leaking bathtub faucets.
So how did it go?!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year .. no matter f you have working plumbing or not..
Oh V!!! Jeez, and on New Years Eve too, What were you THINKING??? LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you both!! ...debbie
Jenn- two trips to the hardware store- the last rushing to get there before they closed early at 5- and some rummaging around out in the shop in the miscellaneous plumbing supplies out there found all that was needed. So, we can use the upstairs bathtub again. But it was a close thing. If he hadn't managed to find a three inch section of pipe threaded on both ends we'd be using the downstairs bath until Monday or Tuesday. But all is well.
ReplyDeleteDebbie- it wasn't my thought at all! He started this all on his own while I was out feeding chickens. sigh... boys....
Happy New Year to you all.
Judy
