Did you know...

... that if you reply back enough times to the Facebook bot without giving them what they want, you eventually get a real person who fixes your problem... AND gives an apology!?  Pretty sweet.  Now if we can just get I15 through the process.
... that finding a dead boxelder bug floating in your morning coffee is a serious turn off!
... that nothing smells quite as good as line dried sheets.
... that a 125 lb dog makes a lot of noise when he has the 'puppy crazies' even when he's 7 years old.
... that bad tomatoes smell... well... BAD!
... that sneezing cats are cute, except at 3 am.... when they're by your head.
... that Autumn is definitely here.
... that there never seem to be enough hours in the day.
... that I never seem to get enough sleep.
... that I am grateful for each and every one of you along on this crazy journey with me.

  1. As for the dead boxelder bug in your coffee, how about a still alive great big ol' cluster fly in your morning latte and he's doing the back stroke? ;o}

    1. Ooo.... you definitely have me beat! Although I can say from experience that a single asian ladybug can ruin an entire pot of coffee.

  3. I LOVE smooshing my face into the line-dried pillows at night and just inhaling!!
    DH found a fruit fly in his beer yesterday....although it didn't stop him from drinking it. The beer. Not the fruit fly.

    1. Ah, fruit flies. Just pick 'em out... especially in your drink!

  4. Ewww on the boxelder! I think my cats are adorable, but I agree that they are most definitely *not* adorable any of the hours of the day that I'm supposed to be sleeping.

    1. So far it's only one bug. We will get to the point where I can't set up the coffee to brew automatically because we have to check for bugs before it brews. Fortunately that phase only lasts for about a week.

  6. We've been having a lot of stink bugs lately. They are hideous things. They move fast, but not fast enough for my fly swatter, but they get back at me in the end by stinking...so now I get them with a kleenix and flush!! ...debbie
