Woke to snow

This morning when I got up there were big clumps of cold, wet white stuff falling from the sky!  It snowed pretty heavily for most of the morning and then cleared off.  The snow didn't stick.  Thank goodness!  Even though it's November and this is Iowa, I'm still not really ready for this.
Otherwise, not much going on with me.  I did stop at the fabric store while we were out and about while K11 was at band to pick up another package of bias tape.  This stupid pattern takes SO much of the stuff that I knew I wasn't going to have enough.  I know it will look great when it's done but, UGH, I feel like I've stitched the same few inches of fabric so many times already!!

  5. Lisa- I hope you are staying warm and dry!!
Debbie- we barely got anything compared to what they got north and west of us. And that storm in Alaska sounds fierce- they can keep it up there!!
Erin- Never fear- once you get back North you can have all the snow you want!!
Mama Pea- I wish I was further along! I don't have a ton of time to work on it and the 21st seems to be creeping up rather quickly!

  6. We got our first snow of the season last night and it wasn't even in the forecast. Take care of those chickens, which reminds me, I better go out and feed because I can see they haven't ventured outside because of the white stuff on the ground. Sheesh, they are so chicken!

  8. Rose- Thanks for stopping in! I haven't gotten to see mine in snow- my hubby lets them out in the morning. I'm sure I'll get my chance.
Linda- We knew it would stick sometime, didn't we. And it's not like the weather worries if we're ready or not. But wouldn't it be nice if the weather cooperated more often...
