It was a wonderful day today after a not so hot week. The week was hectic and we got some news that I'm not ready to share here yet... It's not really my news to share although it effects me. Anyway, things are settling down nicely now.
But today was a lovely day for me. I got to spend most of the day sewing and then we had family game night. We ended up playing Ticket to Ride and had lots and lots of fun. We had trouble at first deciding what game to play but this was a new game that we haven't played yet and it was one that all five of us could play together.
It was a great day. I love family night!
Family nights are great aren't they.We got to find things to do at night when we get home,no electricity for a while.lol.
ReplyDeleteWe try to have family night at least once a week but aren't always successful. But a couple of times a month we either play games or watch movies together. Nothing beats it.
DeleteJudy - I am hoping that the news you are not ready to share yet is good news, but regardless I know you will take it all in stride. Family game nights are something I am hoping to work in this year. We occassionally play monopoly or risk (both star wars) and I am sure we have others. Uno, SkipBo...

DeleteFamily night is so wonderful, I do hope you are able to work it in at least once a month. We do games, watch movies or even cook together as a family. And it's mandatory- an amazing feat with teenagers.
