We got home about 11 pm last night. Tired but happy.
The wedding was beautiful, but cold.
My BIL, sister and the bride and groom
Poor things, it was mid 50's, windy and threatening rain. The bride and bridesmaids all in strapless gowns. Brrrr. But they endured and it was a lovely outdoor wedding with the mountains in the background.
K10 tries to avoid a kiss from the bride.
We don't clean up that bad.
Finally on our way out, a sunny day.
Long's Peak- one of the fourteeners in CO.
Now, on to laundry, picking up the dog from the kennel and checking the garden. Then, maybe a nap. We were on the road for 12+ hours yesterday. I got to drive nearly the entire length of Nebraska- in rain and fog. Ugh.
looks like a great time. And happy birthday to your dd! glad you enjoyed it

ReplyDeleteGlad your travels were safe. Wow, it seemed you had a fast trip, how long was it? Great family photo!
ReplyDeleteIt was a whirlwind trip. We left Thursday around lunchtime and drove half way (it's about 12.5 hours drive time, not counting stops) and arrived Friday lunchtime. We had family events Friday evening, Saturday lunch and wedding Saturday evening. We left Sunday am and drove straight through. Not much time for sightseeing but we got to see family and do a little tourist stuff. Nice to be back but the weeds have been having fun while we've been gone.
