A few images from the past few days...
V baking!?
Christmas Eve is the one day of the year that he bakes.
Mmm, Sacher torte
Chocolate and almonds, how can he go wrong.
Santa has arrived
The kitties inspect the packages.
One of my gifts.
I've got bees in my bonnet for spring....
And the children were nestled all snug in their ????!!!
Yes, they were initially horrified but then decided that they are warm and comfy.
Matching Zebra!!
And remember all those big boxes I got for V?
Here they are, all unpacked and assembled:
He's already got it filled.
I hope you all had a splendid day- if you celebrate Christmas- and even if you don't!
We had 7 or 8 inches of new snow here so it was nice to hang out at home in our jammies all day. Today we will go to see my parents on the farm.
Merry merry and Happy Ho Ho to you and yours...the torte looks delish, the kiddos look grandly horrified (made me remember the year my mom made all 6 of us MATCHING candy cane striped nightgowns for Christmas--LOL--we all screamed in unison!!)
ReplyDeleteI am blessed to count you and your blog among my holiday blessings, Judy...best wishes for an abundant and prosperous New Year !

ReplyDeleteBees!!
ReplyDeleteThat's so great -- for the last couple of years I've been helping my brother-in-law every now and then with his bees. He has 14 hives at different places (some in the mountains, some in values with lots of fields, and some in a rather large orchard). All aspects of the bee keeping process are fun, and the smell and taste of freshly extracted honey is just fabulous. I certainly hope you will enjoy!!
Matching snuggies! I'm just now catching up on all your posts - that was hilarious! And your hubby's piece in the paper was great! On to newer posts now...
