I don't think you can go wrong with chocolate chip cookies. Things are better in her life now. Getting lost on her way to rehearsal before a concert didn't help with the angst.
Luckily, at 17 the unhappiness usually doesn't last too long. Or else it is forgotten because of another happening which is even more traumatic and calls for even more drama.
P.S. Chocolate chip cookies work well for adults, too. ;o}
Well I'm not 17, I'm not running late etc and cookies still sound pretty fantastic!
And Judy, I wanted to say while on my kids kindergaten field trip to the zoo this morning I laughed so hard and thought of you.. This little girl told the zookeeper at the penguin launch that she knows what penguins eat.. Zombies.. I couldn't stop laughing. The zookeeper god bless her, just smiled and said well yup they have to control the zombie population..
Chocolate chip cookies are always the answer. Unless of course it's chocolate chip cookie DOUGH. :) Love 'em both.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the unhappiness :( Hope all is well now. :)
Also I love your new picture up top. Very pretty.
Take care, Janet W

I could definitely do with less of the drama. We had two episodes yesterday. Ugh. Hormones....
Deletechocolate chip cookies do the trick here...plus a hug if we are allowed:)
ReplyDeleteHugs were allowed- but the chocolate was definitely the winner.
DeleteI know they sure work for me!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd they work even better when they're still warm and gooey.
DeleteBeautiful header photo! Hooray for chocolate chip cookies. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks- that photo makes me glad I didn't deadhead those garlic chives.

DeleteHahahahahahaha...Yeah, my 17 year old had one of those days today...I just missed the cookie making part! Fail! I'll remember that for next time ;-)
ReplyDeleteOf course, I was baking cookies at 9pm- not the best idea in the world- but it helped.
