1.3 ounces of eggy loveliness from one of the girls. Isn't it beautiful!!
Sorry for my absence. I've been busy preparing for guests so the posts will probably be scarce for the next few days as well. V's brother K arrives on Thursday and another friend on Friday. Party on Saturday has me hopping. I'll try to do a catch up alphabet post some time soon.
But I'm SO, SO, SO excited about the egg!!!
Congratulations! The first one is so exciting--soon you will be swimming in eggs!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your first egg! It's beautiful! Have a great Birthday weekend!!...
ReplyDeleteCongrats, that is big news!!
ReplyDeleteHurrah! First eggs are very eggcelent......!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny? We get chickens so we can have eggs and we know the chickens will eventually grow big enough to lay eggs but when we get that first one . . . how can one little egg be so exciting??! ;o}
ReplyDeletes- I can hardly wait for more!!
ReplyDeleteDebbie- thanks!
Erin- I hadn't planned to take the time to post but it was too good to not share!
Compostwoman- eggcelent.. haha!!
Mama Pea- it is funny!! I have known that we would be having eggs- and known that it would be soon based on their age and signs that they were getting ready. But actually seeing that tiny egg there was just SO great! I actually squealed in delight- I'm surprised you didn't hear me.
And yes, we ATE it!! We fried it up and each had a single bite. LOL!!
Judy
