What do you do on a beautiful fall night? Why, burn things, of course. It was such a lovely evening that we decided to burn the branches that have fallen, or been trimmed, out of the trees over the summer. The boys especially love adding fuel to the fire. We have quite a bit collected and plan to burn more in the fire pit tomorrow afternoon. That means a nice bed of coals to practice dutch oven cooking. I've got this great recipe for cheesy bacon potatoes in the dutch oven that is just lovely. Peace. J
